ASTM D874 Ash Content Analyzer in Petroleum Products

Introduction:

• The instrument is designed and made as per the national standard of Test Method for Ash Content of Petroleum Products. 

• It is suitable to determine ash content in the petroleum products as per ASTM D874. 

• It could not be used to determine ash content in the petroleum products containing ash-forming additives (including additives containing certain phosphorus compounds), lubricating oils containing lead, and used engine crankcase oils.

(1) Resistance furnace

   3. Heating mode: by three groups of heater. The power of each group is 0.8 kW. They can be used separately or at the same time.
   4. Height above sea level at working site: not higher than 1000 meter
   5. Ambient temperature: 5°C~40°C;
   6. Relative humidity: ≤ 80%
   7. Plate size: 450mm×350 mm


(3) Ceramic crucible


   Size: 50 ml, 100 ml.
